| I don't think this is an accurate comparison, but the reason anyone feels suicidal is depression, and the reason they sometimes follow through on it is a desire to end the pain. Men are perhaps more prone to keep the abuse hidden because they may feel they should have been able to avoid the rape or fear that people will think they're homosexual. |
